Heidi Aemisegger started her career as a dancer and her drive to express herself through beauty and art, to move and to be creative took her to the stage. Her journey as an artist lasted for more than 25 years as a performer, choreographer, director also leading and managing her own company, Oeff Oeff Productions, for 18 years.
She relates her accomplishments to a quote she once stumbled upon “I didn't know it was not possible therefore I did it.” from Jean Cocteau. In fact she doesn’t believe anything is impossible.
Heidi experienced spirituality without knowing. People would wonder how she would get such outrageous and different ideas and she would say “inspiration comes to me as a butterfly and it sits on my hand and it says to me: follow me. That is the moment. If I start following the butterfly then the art becomes bigger than the artist. Because the art has its own wisdom, the art leads, not the artist. The art is the inspiration and the artist is the one who tries to put the inspiration into a form.”
And this is how healing can also happen. When we allow ourselves to listen to our own inner voice, to our own wisdom, to the calling of our souls we can transform our lives in a masterpiece.
